How this is calculated

This model mirrors how DSDT students actually win clients: you run free AI audits through the Local Service Spotlight tool (we make nothing on the audits — they're lead generation), a portion become real opportunities, and you close about half of those into monthly retainers. You then keep clients based on how well you deliver, and you can serve more of them because your AI agents do the heavy lifting.

The funnel each month

  1. Free auditsleadsretainer clients. New clients/month = audits × lead-rate × close-rate.
  2. Retention. Each month a small share of clients churn. We model monthly churn = 1 − retention^(1/12).
  3. Capacity. You add clients until you hit the number you can personally run well with AI — then you mostly replace churn.
  4. Income. Active clients × your monthly retainer, simulated across 12 months.
