DataForSEO Tools Privacy Notice
Effective August 10, 2026. This notice covers the Local Service Spotlight DataForSEO gateway and its connected AI tools.
Data we process
We process the verified Google account name, email, and stable identity subject needed to authorize the connection. For each tool call we record the member email, tool, timestamp, weighted credits, reserved and actual vendor cost, duration, result count, status, error code, and a SHA-256 hash of the normalized request.
Data we do not put in the audit ledger
We do not store prompt text, the shared DataForSEO password, or raw OAuth access tokens in the usage ledger. Tool responses may be cached for up to six hours for live AI answers and 24 hours for indexed SEO data to prevent duplicate charges.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides authentication, compute, OAuth state storage, and the usage database. DataForSEO receives the search or AI query required to produce the requested result. The member’s AI provider processes the tool result under that member’s separate account and terms.
Purpose and access
We use this data to provide the tools, enforce allowances, investigate failures or abuse, and audit vendor spend. Access is limited to authorized operations and engineering personnel. We do not sell gateway usage data.
Retention and requests
Expired response-cache entries are eligible for deletion immediately. Usage and security records may be retained for up to 12 months for accounting, abuse prevention, and incident review. To request access or deletion where applicable, email operations@localservicespotlight.com from the affected account.
