A painting company that would rather be checked than believed
We publish our prices, our licence number, our warranty terms and our bad reviews. Not because it is a marketing strategy — because everything else in this trade is unverifiable and homeowners are tired of it.
How this started
Target Painting & Contracting is a family-run painting and carpentry company based on Boston Post Road in Sudbury, with a second office on Thoreau Street in Concord and crews on Cape Cod since 2023.
Most of our painters are Brazilian. Several have been on the brush for more than fifteen years and came up through the trade properly. Between the crew we have well over two hundred years of combined experience, and it shows most in the places customers notice — caulk lines, nail holes, the edge where trim meets siding.
What we are not
We are not the cheapest bid you will get. We are also not a franchise or a lead-generation front. When a job needs extra hands, they are vetted people who work directly for us — not whoever answered the phone.
What we changed because customers told us to
Three specific things on this website exist because of criticism we received, and we would rather say so than pretend the feedback never happened:
- One named, English-speaking project manager on every job. A customer in Shrewsbury pointed out that the crew spoke Portuguese and she needed someone she could talk to. She was right.
- A written property-protection protocol. After a review about damaged plantings during a power wash, we wrote down what covering, pre-wetting and rinsing means and put it in every crew’s job packet.
- The Final Walk. After a job ran two months instead of two weeks with poor communication, we made the end of the job a formal, scheduled, signed step instead of an assumption.

The people you will actually deal with
Who is who
Jayleen Vincuilla
VP of Operations
Keeps crews, schedules, and customers moving from first call through the last walk-through.
Joseph Smith
VP of Production
On site managing the work. The person making sure what is on the wall matches what was promised in the estimate.
Nicholas Ross
VP of Sales & Business Development
Walks your property and writes the estimate you can hold us to. No pressure, no same-day-only discount.
Roberto Aragao
Sales Consultant
Handles cabinet and interior consultations, including color walk-throughs with samples on your own walls.
Matheus Heringer
Project Manager
On site every day reviewing jobs — prep, paint, and the punch list before we call it done.
Kimberly Clark
Office Assistant
The person who actually answers. Schedules crews, tracks your start date, and calls you before you have to call us.
And the crew
Customers name them in reviews, so we will too: Alex, Hector, Junior, Paulo, José L., Lucas Santos, Jesus, Vinnie, Carlos, Gabriel, Braga, Marcio, Renan, Tiago. If someone did good work on your house, tell us their name — we pass it on.
Awards, and what they are worth
Recognition
Awards in this industry are mostly a function of review volume, so treat them as evidence that a lot of people have been happy rather than as a quality guarantee. Every one of these links out so you can check it.
Materials
What goes on your house
We buy Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams and California Paints and pick the line by substrate and use, not by what is on promotion. The exact product and sheen is written on your estimate before you sign it, which is the only way you can compare our bid with anyone else’s honestly.
