Access Checklist

LOCAL SERVICE SPOTLIGHT

Access Checklist

The fastest way to get us working for you. Most clients finish the essentials in about 15 minutes — and for most accounts, we send the request and you just click “Approve.”

Why we ask

To grow your search, social, and AI visibility, we work inside the accounts that drive it — your Google Business Profile, website, ads, and analytics. The old way (“go add us as a user on 90 things”) is why access used to take weeks. We rebuilt it: tell us your accounts once, we send the requests, and you approve them from your inbox.

How it works — three steps

1
Tell us your accounts
One short intake form — paste the links to your website, Google, and social accounts. ~5 min.
2
We send the requests
We fire off access requests from our IDs. No guessing permission levels — we ask for exactly what we need.
3
You click “Approve”
Approve each request from your email or account. A live checklist updates as each one lands. Done.

Grant access to

The same identities everywhere below — one email, one ads ID, one Meta ID, one vault. No guessing.

Tier 1 — The Essential 6

This is 90% of what we need to start. Knock these out first; most are one click.

AccountHowThe 30-second version
Google Business ProfileWe requestWe send an access request as Manager. You get a Google email → click Accept. ~2 min
Google Search ConsoleAdd 1 userSettings → Users & permissions → Add user → our email → Full. (If we run your DNS, we verify automatically.) ~1 min
Google Analytics (GA4)Add 1 userAdmin → Property access management → + → our email → Editor or Analyst. ~2 min
Google AdsWe requestEmail your Google Ads account ID to access@localservicespotlight.com → we send a Manager (MCC) link request → you click Accept. ~2 min
Meta — Facebook + Instagram + AdsWe requestBusiness Settings → Partners → Add → enter our Business ID → check your Page, Instagram, Ad account & Pixel. ~3 min
Website / CMSInvite adminWordPress: Users → Add New → our email → Administrator. Hosting / FTP / a vendor portal (e.g. FordDirect) → use the vault, not email. ~2 min

Why this is faster: four of the six are “we request, you approve,” so you never hunt for the right menu or guess a permission level. The other two are one screen each.

Tier 2 — Expand as we grow

We turn these on as your plan calls for them — not all at once.

YouTube — Channel ManagerLinkedIn Page — adminTikTok — Business CenterReddit — we advise / runPinterest — collaboratorX / Twitter — delegateDNS / registrar — vaultVendor / OEM portal — vault

Building AI / answer-engine visibility (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)? Reddit, YouTube, and clean website schema matter most — we prioritize those.

Passwords? Use the vault, never email

For anything that needs a login we can’t request — hosting, a registrar, an OEM/vendor portal — we send a secure vault link. You paste credentials there; it’s encrypted, access-logged, and expires on its own. Never email or text a password.

You’ll see it land — live

As each grant comes through, a checklist in your project updates itself. No “did you do it yet?” emails, and you always know what’s left. When the Essential 6 are green, we’re off and running.
