Engage with Social Comments

Task Library

Reply to every real comment on boosted and organic posts in the owner's voice – engagement lowers ad costs, surfaces new video topics, and produces testimonial material.

Category: Content Factory – Promote

Use this when posts are boosted (comments accrue for weeks on $1/day ads) and daily as standing routine across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the 44K group.

Inputs

  • Notification access to all channels where content runs (page, LinkedIn, YouTube, group)
  • The owner's voice guide – replies publish under their name and must sound like them
  • The content tracker, to route what comments produce (topics, testimonials, thank-you triggers)

Steps

  1. Check notifications on all boosted and recent organic posts daily – a $1/day ad keeps collecting comments long after posting.
  2. Reply to every real comment within 24 hours in the owner's first-person voice: answer the question concretely, then ask one back to keep the thread alive. Threads are engagement; engagement raises relevance and lowers cost per result on the boost.
  3. Like and pin the best comments; visible conversation is social proof for every later viewer the ad buys.
  4. Harvest as you go: recurring questions → new one-minute video topics (feed the Topic Wheel / Produce stage); praise → screenshot for testimonials and Thank You Machine triggers; objections → future warm-stage content.
  5. Handle negativity by rule: hide or report spam and abuse; never delete honest criticism – answer it publicly and specifically; a good public answer converts the audience watching.
  6. Log the week's harvest (topics captured, testimonials saved, thank-yous triggered) in the MAA report.

Definition of done (QA checklist)

  • Every real comment across channels answered within 24 hours, in the owner's voice
  • Best comments liked/pinned; spam hidden; honest criticism answered publicly, not deleted
  • Harvest logged: new video topics, testimonial screenshots, Thank You Machine triggers
  • Engagement effect visible in boost metrics (relevance, cost per result) week over week
  • Linked back to the definitive article and relevant siblings
  • Complies with Blog Posting Guidelines (if it publishes content)

Example(s)

  • Example needed – run the Meta-Article Prompt after first real run. Candidate: a week of comment threads on a boosted one-minute video producing two new Topic Wheel entries and one testimonial.
